Stone Cleaning

Cleaning of natural stone, brick, sandstone and masonry surfaces

Soda blasting of sandstone is a gentle abrasive cleaning method that involves projecting baking soda (NaHCO3) onto the surface under pressure. It effectively removes dirt, deposits, and mold, while being much safer than traditional sandblasting because soda is softer, biodegradable, and easily rinsed away with water.

This process is ideal for the restoration of façades, monuments, and architectural elements made of sandstone, as it does not damage the stone’s delicate structure, produces minimal dust, and leaves no residue or marks.

As a result, cleaning can be carried out without the need to mask surrounding elements such as windows.
